Action Express runs its own light- and medium-duty box trucks — the 12–26 ft straight trucks that do the real work of pickup, local moves and final-mile delivery on both sides of the border. For full truckloads and long linehaul, the vetted carrier network takes over. Your freight rides whichever is faster.

HOW WE VET CARRIERS
Your freight goes on somebody's truck. We make sure it's the right somebody.
We don't own a fleet — we own the standard every carrier has to clear before it touches your load. Here's what that check actually is.
Authority, verified live
We pull the carrier's FMCSA operating authority and confirm it's active the day of the load — not the day we met them. No authority, no freight.
Insurance that matches the load
Cargo and liability certificates checked against what your freight is actually worth, issued direct from the insurer. Not a PDF from last year.
Safety record reviewed
Inspection and CSA history read before we tender. A carrier with a pattern we don't like doesn't move your freight, whatever the rate.
No double-brokering
The load goes to the carrier we vetted, and we confirm the truck at your dock is theirs. Re-brokered freight is how shipments disappear.
Every load also moves under a signed broker–carrier agreement, so the terms are the same whichever truck shows up. Ask us anything about it.
